In this way, my goal is to educate and comfort those who suffer from these difficulties and let them know how to deal with these problems so that they can develop a better quality of life. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an Original Essay Anxiety is known to discourage adolescents from participating in social or academic activities. This has an overall impact on the child's well-being, which can have destructive repercussions in their future years. This picture book will focus on addressing and identifying these problems so your child can know what to do. An example of a situation is one in which a child is subjected to arguments or arguments from his parents, which helps him become more emotionally secure as he matures. Because I enjoy working on artwork and writing stories, the picture book has been an interesting endeavor that has allowed me to support others. which helps to further customize this project. There are numerous factors that influence the overall complexity and difficulty of this project, such as educating young adolescents on the advanced topic of anxiety, which can influence the success of the product's ability to communicate the desired message without being too detailed or too uninteresting for the target audience. This can be remedied through thorough research and understanding of how adolescents experience anxiety and ways they can cope with it. The global context of my project is "Identity and relationships". This global context focuses on the mental, physical, personal, social and spiritual health of those suffering from anxiety and insecurity. It also allows me to delve deeper into the science and psychology of adolescents suffering from these issues and provides deeper knowledge and understanding of my weaknesses and strengths. For these particular reasons, I can easily conclude that this is the most practical global context compared to others. This particular project will be a challenge for me as I have numerous skills and techniques that I am still developing and learning. A clear example of this is digital art. Digital art can be difficult to use because it requires understanding the program used in product design and how to best use all of its features to receive the most aesthetic illustrations. Another example of challenges faced within this project is to convey and educate adolescents suffering from anxiety/depression to deal with these issues and become more enlightened about these issues. It's difficult because the information needs to be watered down to make it more child-friendly without making it too dense that you don't get any messages. Prior Knowledge Before pursuing my personal MYP project, I had gathered a variety of prior knowledge from in school lessons and research, which helped me make the picture book plot and draw the characters much easier. With some exceptions, most of the MYP subjects I studied in previous school years, such as Engineering and Design, Art, English, Individuals and Society and Legal Studies, even teachers, helped to develop and masterspecific and technical skills useful in expanding my knowledge. However, the specific skills I learned for this project were creative writing, planning, research skills, and creative drawing. A clear example of how one of my MYP subjects has improved my knowledge is English. This is where I learned desired creative story writing techniques, teaching me how stories should follow a certain structure and should successfully incorporate communication techniques. Using and understanding the effectiveness of these skills has allowed me to produce a more desirable product. Additionally, the overall personal growth in my intelligence/creativity greatly influenced my product development process. Balancing and organizing my artwork and other school subjects ultimately improved the overall success of my product. Research Skills I have been equipped with several effective research skills over the past few years and have used them throughout this project. The most notable example would be the research technique of using multiple sources to credit certain other sources. Using this research technique, finding useful websites and statistics was easy and improved some of my other skills related to my research, such as organizational skills and time management skills. This allowed me to effectively organize and produce a picture book to spread awareness of the issue at hand. Research skills can be learned in many different ways, however MYP taught me that most of them come from books and the Internet, as these contain a variety of information and sources that can be manipulated to access new research skills. research. These are mostly viewed through assignments, dissertations, and experiments. The most important skills that have been acquired during my MYP experience would have to be: data collection, planning, critical analysis and more. Planning Product Criteria The criteria I created for my product/outcome, being a picture book for teenagers suffering from anxiety, can be found in [appendix A]. Through extensive research and references to other criteria, I was able to build my own criteria sheet to evaluate the success rate of my project. This criterion laid the foundation of the standard requirement, which I thought was fair, to obtain a certain score. When I use the information gathered from my research, the overall success of my product can be judged within an enabling threshold. Since every aspect of the product's multidimensional criteria has been validated and justified by extensive research and information provided by knowledgeable professionals, my adjustments have been made to the product criteria based on the number of participants and the amount of money, as it they could have made more realistic estimates, closer to the project. Development Process To establish a regulated work schedule for this project, my school provided a plan that set out our long-term and short-term goals. However, I found this method rather lacking and unreliable for my working methods. Instead of using this technique, I used several others that I designed and adapted to my work routine. An example of this is when I composed an “execution timeline” [Appendix B] which is, more specifically, an organized calendar that sets key dates when I would work on specific parts of the essay and project. This then allowed me to work at my own pace, juggling school work, social interaction, and this project. ActCreationEven if I can'tweigh heavily on the quality/success of my product, I have found that for the most part, "Jordon's Troublez," the picture book I designed and created, has been a surefire success. The criteria I personally developed to define the requirements for evaluating this product were a clear success with most of the threads marked at the top (in column 7-8) - although it should be noted that this is an unequivocal opinion partial, however it shows my overall learning process and growth during this assignment, as a 10th grade student. The success of my product would be improved as I would receive numerous comments from both adults and children, who were willing to look at my picture book, congratulating me on how well they thought the book turned out and how much they appreciated the artwork. Additionally, my picture book “Jordon’s Troublez” can be connected to my global context, identities, and relationships. This involves a relationship and connection with the target audience (young adolescents and teenagers), as a result of the design and organization of the entire product. By using art sharing sites, such as Pinterest, Artstation, and Tumblr, I have been able to not only gather feedback on my own artwork, but also gather references from the artwork and expertise of others people, as these platforms typically allow artists from all over the world to grow and learn together, which ultimately brought me closer to my goal and develop as a better artist. This allowed me to reflect on my strengths and improve my weaknesses, especially planning, in order to expand my knowledge and mature to a greater extent, compared to the beginning of this project. Thinking Skills Thinking skills are a requirement in all aspects of the MYP system without exception. For this particular project, both my critical thinking and creative ideas influenced the overall decisions I made during the picture book planning and production process. A clear example of how I exercised my creative ideas was when I designed the many different characters I would use for the product. It took many hours of trial and error to find the perfect characters to deliver the most effective message that was most appealing to both boys and girls. This can be seen in the book where I used a two-headed monster (one male and one female) to represent the parents. Research on childhood anxiety has taught me how divorce and arguments between parents (which is what the monster represents) is one of many anxiety triggers. This allows me to educate teens on how they can help the problem or avoid it to solve it. Critical thinking was also implemented in many other tasks and had such a great influence on the entire project by teaching me important skills and improving previously learned techniques such as effective planning. Communication and social skills In addition to these skills, I also cultivated many other skills such as communication and social skills during this project. As stated previously, communication played an important role in evaluating the overall success of my project. A clear example of this can be seen in how well I was able to communicate my message throughout my book. This was important because I needed to educate children through words, which means I needed to develop this skill to do so effectively. If this had been done improperly, the success of my product in relation to both my criteria and my personal success would have failed. Another
