Walter White is 56 years old and a high school teacher whose major is Chemistry. He's a normal person who has a normal life. He is married to a woman named Skyler and has a son. One day his health was poor and he was coughing blood; he went for tests at the hospital. The doctor told him that he has lung cancer and that he still has a year before he dies. However, there was hope... When Walter received the news, he was depressed that he would die soon. He needed to leave money so his family could take care of themselves when he died, but his salary from school was insufficient. Therefore, he decided to work with Jesse Pinkman to prepare methamphetamine and sell it to people on the street. At the beginning of the TV show I was surprised because I didn't imagine that a high school teacher could think of being a drug dealer and especially someone of his age. Walter wanted to get treatment from the hospital for his cancer, but he needed to pay them a lot of money that he doesn't have. When Skyler found out her husband had lung cancer, she wanted to ask her brother-in-law to help him. However, Walter did not agree. He didn't want to ask anyone for money, so the only solution left was to become a drug dealer. At first he started working with Jesse Pinkman in an RV. After two weeks as a drug dealer, Walter had changed. He began to get angry and argue with people. In this scene I liked Walter's reaction when his wife learned about his health problem. He didn't want to ask any of his family or friends for money. He wanted to take care of himself and be an independent person. Also, I got a little emotional when he started acting angry and arguing with other people. Before he started working with Jesse Pinkman, he had a normal life with his family. He went to work in high school and then worked part-time at the car wash. After a while, Skyler had a bad feeling. She felt there was something wrong with her husband because he spent a lot of time away from home. So, Skyler started following her husband to know what he is doing. When Skyler was sure there was something between her husband and Jesse Pinkman, she asked Walter to tell her the truth. However, he did not tell her the truth. He told her that he was depressed about his health and that he only bought marijuana from Jesse Pinkman and would never do so again. In this part, I was not put off by Skyler's reaction because most women worry when their husbands come home late. They start to feel worried. Also, not telling Skyler the truth about cooking meth was the right thing to do because if Skyler had known, she would have been angry and possibly left Walter. Walter White and Jesse Pinkman started earning money, but it wasn't enough for Walter. Therefore, he asked Jesse to find someone who has contacts, so that they can sell more and get more money. Jesse found someone called Tuco who is also a drug dealer. They began to work together and earn more money, but one day Walter and Jesse had a disagreement with Tuco. Jesse and Walterthey then planned to escape, but Tuco kidnapped them and captured them in a house in the desert. However, Walter's brother-in-law who works in the DEA came to the house because he was following Tuco. When he arrived, he engaged Tuco and they began shooting at each other until Tuco arrived killed. However, Hank didn't see anyone else in the house because Walter and Jesse ran away. Also, up until that point, Hank didn't know Walter was a drug dealer. In this scene I got emotional because Walter and Jesse were planning to escape, but Tuco caught them. Also, when they were hiding in the desert, Hank came to arrest Tuco. I thought Hank would see Walter, but he didn't. Also, if Hank had caught Walter, Hank could have lost his job because Hank and Walter were like brothers. Therefore, at that moment I felt excited and wanted to know what would happen. Walter and Jesse were suspicious, so the police took them to the police station for investigation. Walter heard that there was an investigator who helps criminals called Saul, so he called him to come and free them. The police had no evidence, so they released them immediately. When Walter and Jesse went out, they stopped cooking for a while because some police officers were constantly watching them. After a couple of weeks, Saul told them that there was a man named Pollos who had been working as a drug dealer for 20 years and that he could put them on the job with him. In this part of the TV show, when Walter and Jesse stopped cooking for a while, I thought it was the right decision to make because if they continued cooking, the police would catch them. Also, I was shocked when Saul told Walter and Jesse about Pollos. I said to myself, what kind of investigator is this! Walter and Jesse started working with Pollos and he gave them a lot of money. Walter began to earn a lot of money. He didn't know what to do with it all, so he built a room under his house to hide the money, but it was too much. One day Skyler saw the money and Walter told her everything, promising that he would stop working as a drug dealer after a year. She was angry at first, but then she started helping him hide the money and told him that the best way to hide the money is to buy a car wash. Therefore, he bought the car wash to convince the people and the government that he has some revenue. I think this scene is the best because Walter started earning a lot of money and was more confident than before. Before they started working with Pollos, they cooked meth in the desert without knowing they were safe. With Pollos they have a large laboratory underground. According to Mattvissicchio, “I can't find the words to tell you how perfect this show is, but all I can say is that there will be no other that can beat this perfect TV show. Breaking Bad deserves all the hype it gets, Vince Gillian really brings it to the viewers. You will laugh, cry and gasp at how shocking it can be. However, according to Shopaholic35, “The first season was incredible, but I feel like they dragged it out too long. As the weeks went by I felt boring.” In my opinion I agree with Mattvissicchio. This TV show is interesting and I think a lot of people will like it because this story happened in real life. Walter's life changed when he learned he had lung cancer. He started smoking, driving fast, killing people and many other things, but he was good at cooking meth because his major was chemistry; therefore, he knew how to make medicines perfect. The end of this season was amazing because Walter achieved his goals. He got a lot of money for his family and it was safe for him..
