Topic > Drug Trafficking, a DEA Report - 1678

This is a report on the current drug trafficking situation that we have been tracking between the Mexican border and our homeland, the United States of America. This report was generated by Agent Emily Richards, US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). I currently lead a special subcommittee task force that has been tracking the current drug trafficking problems we have with Mexico. The data collected by my commission highlighted the occurrence of difficult issues that have kept current Mexican drug cartels in business. The following paragraphs will provide detailed information on what our committee found. We worked with Mexican police officer Javier Rodriguez, who provided us with in-depth information on two major drug cartels currently operating in Mexico. Rodriquez is currently tracking and attempting to stop drug trafficking into the United States along the Mexican border. He gave us detailed information on his recent connections and discoveries. Recently, he and his partner, Manolo Sanchez, discovered some information about a plane carrying a large amount of cocaine that secretly landed in the Mexican desert near Tijuana. He and his partner managed to intercept the truck carrying cocaine in a large-scale drug seizure attempt. As they drove the truck through the desert, their truck was intercepted by Mexican General Salazar. General Salazar passed the vehicle and relieved the officers of further duties related to their efforts with the drug seizure. General Salazar is known as one of Mexico's number one crime fighters. Unfortunately we have some conflicting information from Agent Javier Rodriguez that contradicts this statement. After the drug bust in the Mexican desert, General Salazar took a keen interest... in the middle of the paper... making great strides in our fight against drugs. The media is daily filled with current news on both local and international drug crimes, indicating that efforts to stop the war on drugs are not going unnoticed by the public. These efforts, along with maintaining strong working relationships with countries also affected by the influence of illicit drug trafficking, continue to be key to successfully winning the war on drugs.
