From the beginning, the resolution of United States foreign policy has been to protect the American constitutional system and the shared interests of the American people. The United States therefore pledged itself to provide for its common defense, to defend the freedom of its trade, and to seek peaceful relations with other nations. The most important goal of American foreign policy is to continue to defend the independence of the United States, so that America can govern itself according to its principles and pursue national interests. The American people are the ones who debate their country. America is one of the few countries where the government acts in the best interests of its people. From my interview essay what I learn is that Americans believe in themselves that their country should always act as the leader of the world. In my interview essay the interviewee said: "America should protect itself from others and maintain the rule of law in the world(interview essay,1) . Therefore, I can know the views of American citizens regarding what they think about their country's role. The American people always want their nation to be powerful and a leader in all frontiers of global issues. We must take a leadership role in working with others collaboratively to address long-term threats to humanity and keep global issues always raised by the American people. From the above it is clear that America always wants to be a leader in global affairs. It also explains that America cannot perform alone in the global affair, which it attempts to face the problem that should always have a better coalition or friendship with another nation to act on its command, doing further research, I found that not only American citizens but also the entire charter of government policy do not play a direct role in the global issue. Some critics think it is a right decision, but most argue that America should act as a leader because it is slowly losing its momentum as a leader and other nations are slowly disagreeing with American policy. Finally, what I like to say is that America's role in the world is made by the citizen of the country. Throughout the different time phases people have always supported their leader's decision. They continue to support and also be aware of the decision. Whatever I emphasize, I realize that the American country is created through the desire and will of popular power. People power is considered the greatest power in American society. When I discovered the different concept of the American people through research, they want their nation to be a model to follow and also warn the leaders not to make a wrong decision
