Additionally, social constructivism allows students to present the same learning experience by giving them the ability to experience it in a way that is personal to them. I understand that we all have different life experiences that influence our perception of things in the world around us. I fully intend to help students achieve the knowledge they need to be successful, but I will not influence how they apply their knowledge to life experiences. I firmly believe that an educator should not be a dictator in the classroom, but only a guide to help students test the capacity of their own learning. A constructivist social classroom is organized in a way conducive to this and offers students and teachers the opportunity to cultivate this style. It is very important to me to ensure that the environment is fair, safe and welcoming for everyone. My management style will allow students to feel confident and comfortable questioning learning processes and reflecting on the “hows” and “whys” without feeling as if they are questioning authority, which unfortunately can often happen in a teacher-centered classroom. My student is centered
