In the end I got everything so that the patient had what he needed. The next day, it was amazing to see the patient as if he were a new person just reborn and the pleasure I felt from being involved in his care at that moment. Experiences like this are the fuel that keeps my passion for medicine alive and remind me to always be that person who can make things happen for those who are sick. Now that the purpose and reason are clear, let me talk about my short term plan. During training I aim to be a leader, giving my colleagues an example of diligence, commitment and teamwork. The main goal is to do the best I can with the hope that this attitude spreads to those around me. Last but not least, it is of great importance to me to leave the hospital, staff and residency program better than I found them, providing organizational and logistical help and designing projects that will be useful for the future
