Develop better relationships with family and friendsWhen we hear the word “relationship,” we think of trust and loyalty. And, above all, connection. When we have a positive relationship with someone, it helps us become healthier, happier, and more satisfied with ourselves. When we have a negative relationship with someone, it breaks down our inner self, our emotions, and our perspective in life. Having a relationship with someone can have a big impact on our lives, both good and bad. I've experienced both. Most importantly, the good relationships I have had with others shape who I am today, and those people are my family and friends. The word family is very fervent. Family is a bond between individuals that cannot be broken. It is bounded by love and commitment. It's how we talk to family members, the stories we tell, and having the same interests will define a sense of what your family is like. This can lead to having the same outlook on life, the same personalities, the same perspectives, etc. Family relationships are about sharing our personal thoughts and feelings without feeling like our family members are betraying or disowning us. Families share a history with each other, and according to McCornack's study, "such stories can go back generations and feature family members from a wide range of cultures" (325). Grandson 2My relationship with my family is excellent. We may argue here and there, but no family is perfect. There will be arguments, of course, but that's what makes a family stronger. My family never disappoints me. They always bring me back to my feet, whenever I feel at my lowest. They support me in every single way. Strong relationships are about spending time together. Quantity and quality are both absolutely necessary for greater relationship formation and maintenance. Arguing and accusing in a relationship doesn't make it stronger, nor will having poor quality with them from time to time. Memories are built around activities and time spent together. Spending time with a family member/friend eliminates isolation and loneliness. ItNephew 6 creates an opportunity to strengthen the family. And most importantly, it improves the communication process. Most people value their relationships, even though many people are unaware of how important it is to improve their lives. It takes hard work to create/build a successful relationship, but it's worth it.
