Investigating two types of communication systems at schoolTerms of Reference==================In my course I will examine two types of communication systems in schools. These two communication systems are internal communication and external communication. Internal communication at school takes place between teachers, parents, pupils etc. (people in the school). External communication at school occurs between schools and organizations outside the school. The purpose of this report is to find out the communication systems in school. Once I discover the different communication systems, I will see how to improve them. There are many objectives that Myton School sets itself. One of the goals that MrHecks (principal) believes in is education in school. I know this because he said that "children's education is of the utmost importance." Another goal of the school is to have a good reputation so that more children can come to school. A second objective is to ensure the smooth functioning of the school. This is done through a staff meeting held every Wednesday to ensure everything is running smoothly. Another aim is to collect information, such as personal details about staff and pupils. The school needs good communication so that people can exchange information with each other so that the school can run smoothly. Information is conveyed to pupils by teachers through assemblies, the school bulletin and the Myton Messenger. The school also needs good communication to resolve problems. This is done by parents who can telephone the school. Procedure To gather information for my courses, I might use desk research, also known as secondary research. I could write letters, talk to people, face to face, use the telephone, send e-mail and send a fax. Deskresearch uses a wide range of sources on the Internet. An advantage of desktop search is that it is free and readily available. To evaluate the search you need to find the relevant information, which already
