Challenges Facing the UAE Healthcare System UAE Healthcare System Strategy The outcome is not easy. Results require energy as well as a good plan and strategy to achieve them successfully, this is what the United Arab Emirates (UAE) healthcare system has done. The UAE healthcare system's ambition to become a favorite destination for local patients and a hub for international medical tourists requires high-quality and cost-effective procedures and treatments, this is what makes the UAE United States implement a long-term strategy to achieve this aspiration (WHO, 2009). In order to support the healthcare system, the UAE government has increasingly focused its efforts on attracting high-end, unique healthcare providers to the UAE. However, despite strong support from the UAE government, healthcare providers still face major challenges to grow and operate in the UAE (Eid. n.d.). There are many challenges facing the UAE healthcare system, but the government and the healthcare system refuse to give up and continue to face the challenges without fatigue or boredom on its part. Standardization across the country One of the major challenges faced by healthcare development is the lack of standardization of healthcare services. instructions and regulations across the country, as well as the various stages of healthcare development in each emirate (Deloitte & Touche, 2011). These challenges have been a huge obstacle to the development of the healthcare system.
