Society's contempt for physically disabled pregnant women and presumption of inadequacy is a serious assumption, with potential legal implications (Parchomiuk, 2014). The probability that a physically disabled woman will have her child taken away at some point in her life is significantly higher than the probability that an able-bodied woman will have her child taken away. (Parcomiuk, 2014). Both the healthcare and legal systems are meant to help people, but physically disabled mothers are constantly humiliated and traumatized by it. In this way, the reproductive rights of physically disabled women have almost been lost. The broader implications regarding women's health would be the need to support minority groups of women in healthcare. As the feminist movement has moved towards helping minority women, it is time for minority women to be given their full freedom back
