This was not a problem for them as they could enjoy their lifestyle with people of their own kind. However, they faced many challenges along the way, raising other questions as well. My mother and father each lived a lifestyle balancing education and taking care of their family by farming and cleaning. They grew up in a culture where family comes first and you have to live to support your family. Knowing this, they sacrificed a lot, resulting in my father leaving school early to take care of his family and even his neighbors. Both have lived a life together and the whole community is aware of each other's condition, essentially making the whole community one big family. Then things changed when my parents got married and had to plan a future for their potential children (me). They decided, together with my dad's community, to go to America where they will have a better life. Now that they have lived in the United States for about 25 years, they are fully aware and accustomed to the problems present here, too
