One of the world's biggest problems is water scarcity. Almost all countries suffer from it and many of them cannot find the most effective solution to avoid this difficulty. The significance of the global water crisis is very easy to understand, but solving it is very difficult. The amount of water in the world is limited, as the population is growing rapidly; the need for water use is growing even faster. This essay will examine the water crisis specifically in China, because it is the country with the most serious water shortage problems in the world. Furthermore, this essay will suggest possible solutions to solve these problems and evaluate them. Although ending the water shortage problem is difficult and expensive, and takes a long time, effective solutions are needed to avoid future crises in China, such as water recycling, south-north relocation, and building a water-saving society water, because such solutions will save people's lives, the environment and support economic development. China's most serious and important problem is water shortage and this problem will not be solved unless solutions are found quickly. So, there are some major causes of water scarcity in China: First of all, excessive use of water. This is due to population growth and people's increased demand for water or higher living standards. As we know, China is the most populous country in the world: the Chinese population amounts to almost 1.3 billion people (Rosenberg, 2010). Secondly, pollution is one of the reasons that aggravate water scarcity in this country; it is because of overpopulation and water use by industry and agriculture: they use some chemicals that contaminate water for their benefits on...... middle of paper ..... .r Project – is it justified?
