When we arrived at the house my father had rented it was a large house with four rooms and two bathrooms. It had a large yard with large oak trees all around. The adaptation to climate and food was because the climate and food were so different from Mexico. On the third day after arriving in San Antonio, Texas, my parents and I picked me up from school. They put me in the same class I was in in sixth grade in Mexico. I was so afraid to go to school on the first day of school because I didn't know English at that time. But the principal put me in a bilingual class to start learning some English, I was so excited to learn a new one
