Another story involving schizophrenia was the case of Stephen Maguire, a doctoral student in mathematics attending the University of Illinois, located in Urbana Champaign, began to realize early in his life that sometimes, while walking home from school or anywhere, generally just walking down the streets, the streets always seemed unusually empty to him.
