What makes computer hardware engineering such a great job? Well it has been said that “Engineering is the art of organizing and directing men and controlling forces, materials and nature for the benefit of mankind”. ("Citations by topic"). Engineering requires you to be good at math because you use geometry and algebra when you build things in engineering. It also requires you to take measurements because you need to measure how long the product will last and how much it weighs. Computer hardware engineering is not only a great job, but it's important because it gives you the chance to build things that people might want to use and to create computer games that people might want to play. Computer hardware engineers spend their workday researching and designing computer equipment. One skill this job requires when doing this is to test the computer equipment to operate the product. This shows that they look at what works and what doesn't work to fix the parts that don't work and test it again to see if it will work before selling it. Another skill of hardware engineers is to invent things that people might want to use. This shows that they can change the world and analyze what they did wrong on a product they sold to remove some parts and replace them with new ones so that the redesign is better than the other. They also add some new features to the redesign that weren't previously present in the other design. Computer hardware engineers also need to be able to upgrade computer equipment. When they upgrade computer equipment, they use the world's fastest PC central processing unit (CPU). They also design fast graphics for video games to improve the appearance of video games when they upgrade the computer fairness... middle of paper... what it takes to become a hardware engineer, I will get good grades in high school and study hard for get a good score on the SAT so I can get into a good college and get into a good company to work for when I graduate.
