Topic > Analysis of Macbeth's Blind Ambition - 1167

Throughout Shakespeare's Macbeth, the theme of blind ambition leading to uncontrollable acts of violence recurs again and again. The main conflict that the work reflects on is that when you use violence to achieve your ambitions for power, there is no going back and the violence cannot be stopped in any way. Therefore, the cessation of violence gained from Macbeth's death restores Thebes in a positive way and is the best solution for both Macbeth and those around him. This project demonstrates the good versus evil reflected through blind ambition and violence in Shakespeare's Macbeth through music that includes both classical and modern melodies. The theme of blind ambition leading to wild acts of violence is directly affected in Macbeth's life even when his natural being does not. they consist of committing evil deeds from the very beginning. However, it is seen that he has the desire and ambition to reach a higher position, especially as he is made king of Thebes. He himself acknowledges that “I have no stimulus To prick the sides of my intent, but only the vaulting ambition, which overrides itself and falls upon the other –” (p. 41). His first actions of killing Duncan consisted of nothing more than pure ambition to reach a higher power. Although he is initially specifically ordered by Lady Macbeth to commit an evil act by killing Duncan, he ends up losing all control he had in himself and turns to madness. The first introduction of the piece begins with an adagio tempo in which emotions are not fully expressed but reflected. This continues with the right hand tied melodic lines and the overall transition from the grand C minor chord at the beginning leading to the F minor arpeggio... in the center of the card... d with the chords and eventually into a A major chord. This transition became the end because after Macbeth's death, the life that felt like death, fear, and violence that continually created madness ended. Therefore, the positive side of this was indicated by the two major chords at the end with confidence and decisiveness. The overall ending of Macbeth's death becomes the end of violence, fear, and wild deeds where no one has to live in fear of death. or violence taken too far by ambition. Furthermore, Macbeth no longer has to suffer from being unable to sleep, which indicates that his life of rest and innocence is over. In this project, the fact that Macbeth's death led to a positive ending and an overall balanced atmosphere as before is demonstrated by focusing on the violent melodies performed by the ambitious ones.
