A very common question that comes to mind of almost every Pakistani is: what exactly is the reason why USA, Australia and Norway are so rich, while Pakistan is hampered by poverty? To find the possible causes we will conduct this research. Researchers have already tried to understand this in different contexts, as The father of modern economics Adam Smith in 1776 came across a similar thought. It is not a modern problem, but it is a phenomenon that has always existed and is increasing with every passing second. Some countries that specialized their production processes were rich and, therefore, could obtain more output (Smith 1776) from the same amount of input. In 330 BC Aristotle was the one who stated that education is the source of all success. According to him, people with a higher level of education are more agile by nature and can easily find new solutions to problems and are able to innovate in every possible way, which in turn results in a decrease in poverty. “A person is considered poor if his or her income level falls below the minimum level necessary to satisfy basic needs. This minimum level is usually called the poverty line." (Guenon n.d.) Considering the situation of Pakistan in recent years, the Pakistani government has taken some measures which are committed to ensuring better access to essential public services for the poor. Various strategies have been adopted to reduce poverty in the country. Along with these poverty control strategies prepared by the government, there was a need for major improvements in the areas of education, healthcare and other basic necessities (including food, water, etc.). To address the above mentioned, the government has taken two major initiatives: i) Khushal Pakistan (a global poor...... middle of paper...... sick people will not be able to get proper treatment.
