In today's world, religious freedom has become an important issue. Religion has a major influence on much of the violence that occurs every day. Religious discrimination is defined as the unequal treatment of an individual because of his or her beliefs. Statistics have shown an increase in religious hostilities in all other major world religions, except the Americas. The price of religious freedom seems to be getting harder and harder. Will we retreat from our religions or will we take these circumstances into consideration and build our religious armies against the enemies the world contains? We started hearing about this problem first in the Middle East. The group well known as ISIS persecutes not only Christians, but also many other religions. ISIS has committed many ruthless crimes in the world. From beheadings, to the massacre of children, to the kidnapping of women and selling them into slavery, to the creation of chemical weapons, the actions of ISIS are terrifying. It seems that ISIS is mainly targeting Christians. There has been much news about the man who controlled the outcome of these despised Christians. A girl who was in one of the classrooms where the attacker entered said he came in and told everyone in the room to stand up. Then he asked them what their religion was. If they were not Christians, they were shot in a part of the body. She remembers him saying, “Well, since you are a Christian, you will see God in just a second.” He then proceeded to shoot him in the head. After being shot, she acted as if she were dead. In my opinion, the courage of this is astonishing. From enduring the pain of being shot to having to lie there while her classmates suffered around her or lay dead still completely amazes me and is not something I don't think many people could
