The increase in population is due to the decrease in mortality rate as a result of the excellent medical facility which has increased life expectancy. The increase in population has led to a greater demand for housing, clothing and food. The level of agriculture increased by 30% over the previous decade as more space was used to grow food and provide shelter for growing numbers of people. For example in the film “More than honey” when research was conducted, it was found that in the countryside there are fewer bees than in urban areas, this is due to the increase in the level of agriculture in the countryside, and therefore of the plants that grow them. the bees they feed on have been replaced by other plants which has led to a decrease in the number of bees. Likewise, exploitation of natural resources will lead to deforestation which further contributes to the environment
