The impact of ICT in my local community Introduction. My name is Pius Wireko-Gyami and I am a 15 year old boy. I am from Ghana and have a family of six. I am the second born of my parents and the first of two boys in our family. I come from a Christian family and live in a Christian neighborhood. I live in the village of Britannia near the docks, west of Silver Town. It is located near Canning Town in east London. The buses that arrive in my area are; 474 and 69. I live in the Newham neighborhood. Where I live is a suburb of East London and I have a lovely neighborhood with lots of lovely people. People in my area have a lot of access to ICT, some of which are Internet facilities, traffic lights, etc. They have all these things to ensure that the residents of the area have a comfortable life. Five years ago, our area knew the traffic light and therefore there were many accidents and even traffic jams which disturbed everyone in our area. The number of Internet users in my area is very large. Almost all families have a computer with which to surf the Internet. This also helps the neighborhood to calm down because everyone would stay at home and stick to the computer rather than going out and making noise and disturbing the peace of others. Investigation method. I went to the area secretary of our neighborhood through an interview that I arranged with him. The name of the secretary in my area is LloydBanks. He is the head of the family with two children. To close the curtain, everything I have to say about the new technology that is about to be introduced in my community is very important for the community because it will bring a huge improvement in the way people in my community will work. Access to convenient places, such as nearby shops, will have to be guaranteed very quickly and conveniently.
