When I was younger I watched soap operas with my mother and grandmother. Soap operas were about cheating on your wife or husband. There were sex scenes that I was always interested in watching. I think soap operas show how messed up society is. This made me believe that I would be prone to being cheated on in the future and that life would be hard. I guess it prepared me well, because in today's society, cheating is okay. I think of my grandparents, I think of a happy generation. Cheating and all the bad things that accompany our generation today rarely occurred. I think part of the reason older people have had fewer problems in their relationships is due to the media. They didn't have Twitter, cell phones, Facebook and all the others to communicate and cheat. They were happy with their life and were not pressured to do anything bad to their life
