There are days in society when everything that could go wrong, goes wrong. The same could be said of life itself. Challenges will be presented and addressed, but how they are addressed is what matters. How the situation ends will be decided. For every action there is a reaction, for every amount of time passed there is something done. In “A Good Man is Hard to Find” by Flanner O'Connor the story revolves around the family's grandmother; he makes several mistakes in the text, but he makes one crucial mistake that leads to the decimation of his entire family, and then in the end salvation is sought but not given, because those who have not spoken to God first will not be heard. when necessary, because the power of Christ is achieved through habitual worship, not a final “hurrah.” Grandma makes several mistakes throughout the story, some that seem minute but all add up towards the end. His first mistake is when he takes the cat into the car. The grandmother reveals: "She had her big black suitcase that looked like a hippo's head in the corner, and underneath she hid a basket with Pitty Sing, the cat, in it." (AGMIHF Page 1) If he hadn't had to bring the cat he would have taken it outdoors and therefore he wouldn't have had to find it. We see why she hid the cat when the narrator explains, "Her son, Bailey, didn't like coming to the motel with the cat." (AGMIHF Pg 1) For some reason the son doesn't like the cat. He has good reasons for doing so. The subsequent unfortunate event also seems to be in miniature, but it is still quite important that the grandmother stumbled upon seeing a city and had remembered, “an old plantation she had visited in this n... paper......javuu. After a conversation with the driver and the children about why they are shooting, the driver tells the mother to tell the mother, “Ma'am, would you mind telling the children to sit next to you? Children make me nervous." At this point Bailey is about to throw a fit about it, BUT Grandma shouts, “You're the Misfit! I recognized you right away!" This was his last mistake and even The Misfit thinks the same when he replies: "Yes," said the man, smiling slightly as if he was happy despite himself to be known, but if it would have been better for all you, lady, if you hadn't fooled me. It's the last straw that the grandmother has collected. At this point, God himself has had enough of having her wrong so many times and now her family is involved that the punishes by sending The Misfit looking like a blessing in disguise..
