Marriottt International, Inc. is an American diversified hospitality company with a broad portfolio of hotels and related lodging properties. It has over 3,900 properties in over 72 countries and territories around the world. Founded by J. In fiscal 2006, Marriott International reported revenue from continuing operations of $12.2 billion. According to DiversityInc magazine, for the fourth consecutive year, Marriottt was ranked among the "50 Best Companies for Diversity" as the highest in the hotel industry.
