Topic > Compare and Contrast High School and College - 1954

It is easier for students to develop a relationship with a high school teacher than with a college professor since they are responsible for far fewer students. Most high school teachers put together a lesson plan, deliver it in class, and expect their students to remember it correctly when a test is taken. In most cases, a student is able to approach the teacher and address his or her concerns, unlike a typical college professor. High school teachers teach for one reason and one reason only, to prepare you for both college and life. They are willing to do their best while assisting you because they know that your future depends on the quality of education you have received. There were multiple instances where I had questions regarding an assignment or project, so I went to the designated teacher. Nine times out of ten the teacher will assist you and answer your questions to the best of their ability. When teachers took time to assist me time and time again, they made me realize that help is available, you just have to be willing to receive it. Homework and projects always went well for me because the teachers always clarified information if they needed clarification. If a student wants to have a relationship with a teacher, they need to commit and pursue it! Many high school teachers are willing to change your life
