First of all, the original Jurassic Park movie didn't use much CGI to make the dinosaurs; there was very little and it only made up a few minutes in the film. All of the dinosaurs made were animatronic props, which resulted in more expense for the film but made the dinosaurs themselves more realistic for audiences (Jurassic Park Trivia). In Jurassic World, CGI is used because there are rarely films that don't use CGI and it is less expensive for the film's budget, not to mention less time consuming to make. Jurassic World also has many representations of the modern culture that we experience every day. For example, he gives the example that corporations are pushing Jurassic World's genetic scientist to create dinosaur fasters so that big corporations can sponsor and profit from new attractions. The continued pressure from multinational corporations ended up creating a problem because the modified dinosaurs inherited many unpredictable behaviors. Back when the original film came out, corporate pressure was never an issue. In reality it was the opposite; Jurassic Park was trying to promote itself by asking companies to give approval. Another modern issue touched upon by Jurassic World is the pressure to always outdo the latest show. Just like modern smartphones
