Dream. A very simple word with only five letters, but a very complex word with an abstract reality. In a dream, you can imagine the impossible, create the unthinkable, and explore your creation. What if experts with high-tech tools could intrude into a person's dreams, manipulate and disorientate the victim's consciousness, extract confidential information without consent, and (get ready for this) implant an idea in the victim's subconscious so that the victim truly believes to what has been implemented? idea is its own inspiration? The jaw-dropping Inception is a 148-minute sci-fi action film masterfully written, co-produced and directed by Christopher Nolan. Distributed by Warner Bros, Inception stars famous actors and actresses, such as Leonardo DiCaprio as Dom Cobb and Ellen Page as Ariadne. The film is rated PG-13 for "sequences of violence and action throughout" and the MPPA (Motion Picture Association of America) gave the film the appropriate rating. Father of two accused of murder, Dom Cobb [Leonardo DeCaprio] and his trusted assistant Arthur [Joseph Gordon-Levitt] are “extractors” who steal information from the target's subconscious. One day, Mr. Saito [Ken Watanabe], a multibillion-dollar energy tycoon, approaches Mr. Cobb and asks him for a favor: to perform an "initiation," an act of implanting an idea, in the mind of Robert Fisher [ Cillian Murphy] . Saito wants Robert Fischer to dissolve his father's company because the Fischer Corporation is the only obstacle between Saito and complete energy monopoly. As a reward, Saito will use his influence to clear Cobb's murder charge. Taking the job and "taking a leap of faith", Cobb recruits members to join his team. Select Ariadne [Ellen Page] the dream of... middle of paper... the world of the subconscious folding and learning new terminologies in dreams, try this movie. For others who just like total destruction and fire, stay away from this movie. The film may be too complex and simply impossible to understand. Overall, Inception got a solid "A", a 5 out of 5. The film had no shortage of parts, as it featured great actors who mastered and honed their acting skills, a famous director who wrote the incredible plot of the film and directed several successful films such as The Dark Knight, and a skilled composer who wrote the music with just the right tone. Combining all three aspects, the only possible result that could be achieved is a great film. Enough with dreams, the subconscious and beginnings. Now the choice is yours. “You will take a leap of faith or die… full of regrets” for not watching this excellent film?
