Every time something goes wrong there's a reason. In most cases this occurs through the fault of a human being, and in cases where it can be difficult to determine that the perpetrator usually committed the action unintentionally. Just because that person didn't intentionally commit a wrongdoing doesn't mean it wasn't their fault. Somewhere along the way, before making a bad decision, the culprit might have looked into something or made a small bad decision that over time turned into a big problem. Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein reveals how everyone must take full responsibility for their actions, even if the results of those actions were indirect or unintentional; without this accountability, the side effects of actions would cause widespread harm. Despite the reckless actions Victor takes, he ultimately takes full responsibility for the creature he created. After the monster kills William, Justine is put on trial for the murder. Victor accepts that it was his fault even though he was not the one who killed him: "But I, the true murderer, felt the immortal worm alive in my bosom, leaving no hope or consolation" (74). Victor felt as if he had actually killed both children because he was the one who created the killer. Even though Justine ultimately took the official blame, Victor took responsibility so he took steps to capture the monster and stop it from killing anyone else. If he hadn't been worried that it was his fault one way or another, he wouldn't have continued trying to silence the monster. Later, while Victor is creating a companion for the monster, he realizes the implications of a second creation: "If I were right, for my benefit, t... the center of the card... believes he should die. This it benefits society greatly because the monster may very well have the urge to kill again for any reason. By responding to his evil he can prevent himself from causing others (or monsters) to feel the need to do so various reasons such as guilt or justice, regardless of his source, responsibility will always act as a corrective force for all negative impacts of actions that occur in our society It allows you to adjust the consequences to acceptable levels sometimes even make the situation better than it was in the beginning because people feel more responsible than they actually are. Without this irrational feeling that leads people to take care of others instead of themselves, our society and social interaction could not function as well as it does now. would cease to function fairly.
