[Q6] There is no pure state in the human condition; happiness is a state of mind, a mentality. Any type of relationship can lead to happiness or any other type of state. It all depends on everything else. Achieving goals is the key to happiness, but it depends on the type of goals. Intrinsic and extrinsic goals determine the type of happiness you will have. Intrinsic goals, on the other hand, lead to internal fulfillment; extrinsic goals lead to pleasure and anxiety.[Q6, Q11] Having extrinsic goals is focused on external gains and rewards and looks forward to wealth, fame, praise, status, and personal image. This void is filled with materials and objects to achieve “happiness” but, on the contrary, leads to paraphernalia of suffering because whatever is used to fill the void does not last and an individual is stuck in the constant search to fill the void. with objects that have no meaning. The individual in spinning loses all the things that would be important to him and leads to anxiety due to the constant search for new materials and objects that satisfy him temporarily. Examples of extrinsic goals might be going to college to get a degree, getting good grades so your parents will reward you with a candy bar, and learning to cook so you can later earn money as a chef. All the examples focus on doing something to get something in return.[Q6] On the other hand, having intrinsic goals in our life will determine our sense... middle of paper... shows a lot of trust and confidence in the other person .
