Topic > The Pros and Cons of Nuclear and Nuclear Energy

Nuclear reactions go through several stages as a fission process to link nuclear reactions, which makes it more difficult to generate nuclear energy. Furthermore, each of these nuclear production processes requires powerful reactors. In fact, it is too expensive to build nuclear reactors because they should be well prepared to support nuclear reactions. According to Arnold (2011), “the biggest obstacle to building new nuclear power plants lately is cost. Building a modern, safe nuclear reactor simply costs too much, especially when it is possible to build much cheaper power plants that burn natural gas” (para. 3). However, energy from coal is cheaper than nuclear energy. Generating energy from coal does not need large and powerful reactors because the reactions that take place in coal reactors are not very strong compared to nuclear ones
