The purpose of this work is to review the issues and problems that often arise in the field of Public Administration. Many agencies have issues and problems that they face on a daily basis. Things like fraud, theft, inadequate resources, human errors, and other things that are conducted can cause problems. When it comes to solutions to issues and problems, there must be ways to make things better. To improve things you need to do research to find out what is needed, you need to do research. We need to find out what works best for the agency, the employees and the public. There are many different ways to conduct research. Some of the ways to conduct research are through quantitative research method, qualitative research method and mixed research method. When it comes to conducting research, there are several methods you can use. Some research methods that can be used are descriptive research, well-controlled experimental and quasi-experimental research studies, and research involving large-scale field research studies. The issue I will take a look at is the public welfare issue/issue. Public welfare was established to help low-income people who are unable to work due to some type of illness, are unable to find work, or are unable to make ends meet on their own. Within the welfare system there are many people who receive money from this program. The purpose of this program is to provide temporary assistance to individuals and families in need. It is to help those who do not have a job or any other source of income who come with assistance. “The federal government provides assistance through… middle of paper… in a manner…” (Joffrion, C.). It matters a lot when it comes to a wide range of publicly funded programs that contribute to America's social well-being. There are many different services funded by the federal government and provided by private organizations. There are many different parts of the interdependent network of public and private efforts that are used to further social welfare programs. Some of the services provided are “child welfare programs such as child abuse and neglect prevention, foster care, and adoption. There are other programs that benefit children, including publicly funded child care, education, and family planning. There are many American public sectors that support many state and local health and human services through the Social Service Block Grant to individual states” (Marx, J., pp.. 7).
