Target focuses on creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, as well as cultivating an inclusive guest experience and promoting equality in society. Target uses conferences and career fairs hosted by organizations such as Management and Leadership for Tomorrow, National Society of Hispanic MBA and National Black MBA Association to build a diverse team. At these conferences, Target sets up kiosks to encourage guests to become Target team members. Target aims to have a team that reflects the communities around it. Target ensures that it incorporates diversity into the company's culture by representing diverse groups. Target's corporate board represents six groups: African Americans; Asian American; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Allied; Hispanic; Military; and Women.
