But if people live by the motto "do it for the glory", do they really care about what they are doing? The general consensus is that you should try and do whatever makes you happy, but people have different motivations for every action they take, so it can be difficult to distinguish whether something actually makes you happy or whether it seems like it should make you happy. For some, seeking and obtaining glory will make them happy, but for others it will not, even though they may believe it. Therefore, glory is not worth much compared to the attainment of pure bliss. Overall, glory can be defined as praise for an action that a good number of people believe deserves respect. As a result, this characterization leaves room for each individual to form different positions on glory since everyone has contradictory views on which actions deserve glorification. Therefore, greatness can be achieved in various ways, including during life and after death. However, obtaining honor is not the same as finding happiness. Life should be spent in a state of happiness, not doing things for glory; therefore, the glory is not as fantastic as people may make you believe
