Sometimes I have to remind myself that some of my fellow students are just starting their college experience and I already have some college experience and personal experience that, Although it initially cost me valuable time, it has served me well and has become an extremely valuable tool. The arrogance at some moments has come to seem like a sense of superiority but I soon break down because it is not necessarily a question of superiority but rather of inferiority because my classmates are starting and I have found myself in their situation and it would be shameful if I hadn't learned a thing or two from my experience. It's that sense of arrogance that I've vowed to myself to work on, because just because a person may be shy or inexperienced, doesn't mean they don't have insightful insight into a perspective or, better yet, a point of view that I myself don't. I considered and that it might just help me better understand a topic or discussion in class. It's a weakness that I hope to work on with the hope that one day I won't feel that false sense of superiority anymore.
