The decline of women in India. . By Cierra Briscoe and Crishell Hall What do you think of when you think of India? You might think of India's great democracy, its festivals and the way they dress. But beyond the surface, there is much more to what is happening in India, such as the declining rate of women in India. Since 1961, the number of women in India has been declining. The reasons for this are multiple. Little girls are killed, women are raped and killed, and women kill themselves because of depression caused by men. In 21st century India, reversing the rate of female births and deaths must be a top priority. This is a big problem because India needs women to have children so that its population can grow, children are healthier when cared for by their mother; and crime and rape rates will increase. The most effective ways to address the problem include making laws that take control away from men, giving women more freedom, putting more people in prison for killing their little girls, and giving women guards to walk with them. at night for safety. First, India's economic growth rate is increasing, but its female relative to male population is decreasing. One way to solve this problem is to enact laws that take control away from men and give women the power to have a voice outside and within their families. This way you allow women to have a voice and the power to defend themselves. This would prevent women from being raped, murdered, depressed and killing themselves. Taking control away from men is very important because men in India take advantage of women every day. It's time for women to have a say and the laws I would make would allow them to do so. One of the laws I... middle of paper... because all around them, society was still wrong. This is why women are afraid to stand up for what is right, because they think a man will overpower them. This is a big problem that needs to be solved, and Me a WOMEN will do my best to solve it and I hope all women of every race will help me. All these laws and ideas that I have won't work if women don't come together and stand up for their rights and help make these laws work. Page cited in the work Moran, Caitlin. How to be a woman.
