Enraged by the pressure to get what he wants, he will do anything to achieve his goal. Macbeth contemplates overthrowing the current king, King Duncan, to receive his place as king: “Stars, hide your fires, / Let not the light see my black and deep longings.” (1.3.50) During this period one of the worst crimes to be committed was regicide. Macbeth is trying to prevent his feelings from reaching him so that his plan to kill Duncan can be successful. This shows that he would do anything to gain his power. Likewise, Tyson was a character whose great anger and fury made him a great fighter in the ring. His goal was to be the best and he wouldn't let anything or anyone stop him from achieving what he had in mind. He gained power by having a constant and driven desire to be invincible. Tyson was also a drug addict due to the various drugs he was given. His detachment prevented anyone from helping him solve this problem. Macbeth's second appearance acknowledges that “Be bloody, bold and resolute. Laugh contemptuously / at the power of man, for none born of woman / will harm Macbeth. (4.1.79) This is enough for him
