I just lived life and didn't worry about the choices I made. However, the daily choices we make truly define which side we are on. If someone says they are ecocentric, but drives around in a gigantic vehicle consuming fossil fuels, they are not really ecocentric. Although for most students, including myself, I simply drive the car my parents give me without asking questions; however, as we get older and have our own jobs, the choices we make with our money will define us. For me, the answer won't be environmentally focused, but that doesn't mean I'm going to drive around in a Hummer burning all fossil fuels. I think most people really are like that. The consequences of the actions they take never enter their heads. They just live life the way they want and I don't think that's a bad thing. I don't think it's anyone's responsibility to tell people what choices to make. As for my life, I will continue to drive the car I want, get plastic bags for groceries, and have the outdoors in the summer and the heat outside.
