In 2007, Fox Searchlight released Juno in Canada and the United States of America as a comedy-drama directed by Jason Reitman. The film was a huge success, earning the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and Oscar nominations: Best Film and Best Actress for Ellen Page (Juno-film: www.wikipedia.org). The film written by Diablo Cody depicts the story of the female character named Juno MacGuff, with an unexpected pregnancy that leads her to adoption rather than abortion. The decision brings a notable change in his life at home and at school. As the film received a lot of positive feedback, the film also depicts controversial issues such as the rational decision between pro-life and pro-choice, the consequences of unprotected sexual intercourse between teenagers, and the reality of parental reaction. The initial purpose of the film is purely in terms of entertainment for teenagers and family members wondering what they will do if a similar circumstance were to arise. Whether or not there was a hidden message in the film is debatable. Regardless of Cody's original intention, it is more beneficial to the school as an institution not to cause potential settlement problems by advocating adoption, lacking coverage of sexual protection methods, and describing parents' easy reaction to adoption. accident. While it may provide some benefits in limited aspects of the field, the schools' loss of credibility will be much greater than the gain from using this film as an educational program. The film obviously addresses a controversial issue of pro-life vs. pro-life. -choice but the film leans more towards one side. When the movie is viewed by an educated adult, he or she can see areas that can potentially help teenagers by doing c...... middle of paper...... which can cause negativity, even a PG rated movie -13 because the general public cannot safely bypass potential hidden messages biased to one side. Film has a strict distinction between use for entertainment and education. The school has a strict distinction between positive and negative impacts that occur on students and the organization.
