One could argue that it is simply a poem with a simple meaning, which does not include good and evil. Another scholar takes issue with the reference to light and darkness mentioned. Especially regarding the Scriptures, one might feel that the Scriptures have no meaning regarding light and darkness, even though they clearly do. Some other naysayers may disagree that good and evil do not intertwine or complement each other.
