The dream is not what you see in your sleep, it is the thing that doesn't let you sleep. I had one of these dreams: to soar in the blue skies with a Behind every success there is an arduous journey and, courage to undertake the journey is nourished only by an inspiration. At this moment I had my inspiration and began my journey, but to achieve success I need constant guidance and support to allow me to face the obstacles I would face in the pursuit of the knowledge that I believe Carleton would provide me. During my school days I never had an opportunity to visit the airport or see a plane in close proximity, so every time we get a chance to see that 200 ton beauty flying in the blue sky, all my friends dreamed of fly a plane, but I've always wanted to build one for myself. So I spent most of my time building a model that looked like an airplane. When I started the engine the model remained still to my surprise, it wasn't flying. I was shocked and disappointed at that moment I realized that there is a magical power that makes him fly rather than his appearance. As the days passed, my love for the iron bird continued to grow along with my determination to sense what that supernatural power really was. I later realized that one man's magic is another man's engineering and that's how I ended up. Every person has a crucial point that completely changes the course of their life, for me my eighth grade was that point, when I realized that dreams are for anyone except goals are for the determined. I knew, it was time for me to take action rather than just think about it, and that's when my dreams started to turn into goals. I was dedicated on the path to achieving my goal, soon my hard work started to pay off. I obtained 90.6% in the 10th grade exams and... halfway through the work... the clearance was accredited as our article was awarded as best article and was published in "INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL AND PRODUCTION ENGINEERING" Not all raindrops become pearls, only the lucky ones that end up in the oyster do, I truly believe that Carleton is one of these places that would turn me into one of these jewels. The program structure and content of the MEng in Aerospace Engineering at Carleton offered the perfect combination of theoretical and practical knowledge, which I believe would help me gain a solid knowledge and understanding of the various concepts in………………..and it would push me to realize my dream I sincerely believe that I am a potential candidate for the Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering at your esteemed university. I therefore look forward to joining your esteemed university in pursuit of higher education leading to a Master's degree.
