Poverty is not a simple problem. It is not possible to ask a question about poverty and get a universal answer. There are many conflicting ideas about what poverty is and, more importantly, where it comes from. The structure of American society demonstrates that much in life can depend on one's family. Having convenient circumstances can guarantee jobs, but having the opposite can also perpetuate depression and the reality of poverty for others. When people have reasons not to make use of their days, they may sink deeper into the belief that they cannot truly escape poverty. People need the right assistance to break free from poverty and lead a successful life. Poverty in America is largely due to government overcompensation of benefits, which places less emphasis on education and causes individuals to lack the drive and skills needed to succeed on their own. Initially, what matters a great deal in determining one's chances in life is education. People immersed in enriched learning environments may believe they are capable of doing great things. All the tools to succeed could be firmly within your grasp. Teacher guidance only promotes these hopes and feelings of trust. However, when children are withdrawn from school for financial reasons, they may not maintain this great self-confidence. Poor people who have not received a great education are not necessarily likely to motivate their children to receive a good education. Without adequate encouragement, children may feel forced to carry on their parents' lives. This cycle can seem endless, which makes a change to the current system necessary. First of all, the government is causing great harm when it gives blank checks to those in poverty and expects them to h... half paper... a more commendable lifestyle. Poverty is clearly not an issue that will be solved overnight. Meticulous work is required, whether adding to or subtracting from the government's current plan. In our social structure, it is highly unlikely that the number of people in poverty will ever approach zero. Nonetheless, the United States must be determined to help ease the pain felt by many below the poverty line. This should be achieved by eliminating the benefits provided by the current welfare system. When people feel the need to create their own life and be assertive, they may very well have strong hope for themselves. The sheer determination to change and go in a new direction can help you believe in the American dream once again. The poverty dilemma can be solved and the government must show faith in its people.
