Director Kyle Alvarez did a great job. In fact, I had no complaints whatsoever with the film's direction. Alvarez seemed to make the most of every scene. (Give an example)... He shot with a lack of color, consisting mainly of neutral colors. This fits well with the film and highlights the lack of happiness during the events that occurred. Each shot took place in smaller spaces that exuded a sense of claustrophobia, allowing each scene to be emotionally charged. As I said before, the acting from the guards and prisoners was excellent in every scene. Alvarez may or may not have influenced any of this. Each scene was shot in such a way that you could feel the emotions of each character. The soundtrack provided an extra touch of emotion in each scene with eerie undertones that create a suspenseful atmosphere. I was absolutely impressed with Alvarez's work. His direction through the color scheme, camera angles and soundtrack was breathtaking. Kyle Alvarez's work here has me excited to see his future
