Part I: Defining My Audience My reader will need to know what is being proposed and how this idea will benefit their company. Sunny Acres will be shown how adding a paintball arena will increase its customer base, therefore increasing profits. My reader will need to know what type of space is required, what the rules of the game are, and whether additional insurance will be required. My reader has some idea how paintball works. I want to make sure Sunny Acres has a clear understanding of how to play, so I will inform them of the rules in great detail. This information will be attached to my document so that the reader does not have to read it in full if they choose not to. I will also let the reader know what equipment is needed for the game itself, what equipment we will rent, and all the services we will provide to our players. Sonny Acres will need to know how long a game lasts and how many people will be able to participate in it at any given time. How many participants at any given time will allow you to calculate the revenue this game will bring? I will also need to inform Sunny Acres that we will need space to store our equipment and goods. Sonny Acers will also need to know how we intend to pay them. We will rent this area to them; we will also give them a percentage of our profits. I think one of the main points to make to my reader is how our paintball customers will want to purchase Sonny Acres' services. For example, paintball clients may develop quite an appetite; Sunny Acres offers numerous food and beverage options whose sales will increase since the arena is part of their park. I would also anticipate from time to time... middle of the paper... you need to determine exactly how much space you will need, on the ground and overhead for the net, making sure there is space free of power lines or anything else that might disturb the network. I will have to determine where to have the entrance and where I can store the equipment. I will have to check with the city to make sure this type of activity is within the limits allowed in this city, making sure no laws are broken. With this proposal I must assure the reader that this is a safe undertaking. Posting appropriate safety rules and requiring the use of waivers with all paintball customers. This area needs to be taken seriously and addressed thoroughly. I will need to contact the insurance company and find out what information needs to be released to the public to ensure that both companies are covered in case problems arise.
