Topic > The romantic era of romance in William's The Tyger...

This referred to the eternal separation of feelings and thoughts, the struggle between two realities within a person. This ties back to the Romantic era because Byron expresses feelings for this woman and shows this to the audience through his detailed words about her beauty. In addition to The Scarlet Letter, another moving novel, Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen, was published in this era. The theme of this story is "restrictions do not determine character, love conquers all", after all it is called the "romance novel". The two words in the title have different meanings, but in the end they are connected. Pride is having a high opinion of one's worth or importance, while prejudice is making judgments about others that are not based on facts or experience. At the beginning the novel is titled “First Impressions”, then the narrator describes how the main character's prejudices and first impressions change over time.
