AaryanEssay on ImpressionismA small group of Parisian artists consisting of Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley, Frederic Basil, Camille Pissarro, Paul Cezanne and Armand Guillaumin felt that realism did not allow them to express their emotions and personalities due to the lack of bright colors and the appearance of details, so they created a new art form, impressionism, and have since revolutionized the world with its bright colors and quick brush strokes. “Since the appearance of impressionism, the official drawing rooms, which were brown, have become blue, green and red,” said Claude Monet, a famous impressionist. Realism is an art form that depicts exactly what a person sees with his or her eyes, it uses many small details unlike impressionism, an art form that depicts the personal emotions of the artist. Impressionist painters use quick brushstrokes and bright colors to create their paintings. The Impressionists were more concerned with the light and color of their paintings and wanted to represent the correct light. They were never bothered by symmetry and sometimes used anomalous angles for their paintings because some people believe that this was how the Impressionists saw the world. People infer that Impressionists looked at the world as a more colorful, imperfect, but beautiful place, as shown in Claude Monet's 1899 painting Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge or Vincent Van Gogh's 1889 Starry Night. Some people did not accept Impressionism for a time because realism, the art of painting everything perfectly or accurately, was the art of choice at the time. Impressions...... middle of paper...... things. The bright colors of Impressionism and paintings depicting rain showers, flickering light on water, lush forests and fields at sunset have amazed most people since seven passionate people saw the world in a different way.
