The Story of KalimdorMany years ago, during the time of the gods and goddesses. There was an ordinary soldier of the gods who, through hard work and determination, became a god, and a powerful one at that. This is his story, the story of Kalimdor. Once upon a time there was a blacksmith named Daneth Trolbane. But there was something special about this blacksmith, not only was he the best blacksmith, but he was a blacksmith for the mighty gods of Mount Olympus! On a warm day in June Daneth had a son, who was named Kalimdor Trolbane. Daneth loved and cherished his son with all his heart and was even willing to give his life so that his son could live, just like any other parent would. Daneth's greatest dream for his son was that he might one day join the ranks of the gods. When Kalimdor could finally wield a sword himself, Daneth began to train and sculpt his son into the man he had always dreamed of. to be. As time passed Kalimdor became strong and wise. A few months before the eighteenth day of Kalimdor's birth, Daneth decided it was time for his son to finally gain equipment worthy of the gods! With the goal of giving his son such prestigious equipment, Daneth turned to the gods for their approval. The gods approved Daneth's request and sent him away. Daneth first built the shield of Kalimdor. He cast the great shield in the vile fire which was so hot that even Prometheus himself had to handle it with great care so as not to get burned. But if it wasn't fire that gave the shield its great power, it was unshakable steel. Adamantine steel was said to have powers so great that not even the gods could fully control them! Thus making it the perfect material for a shield. Daneth nam...... middle of paper...... the gods were amazed. Kalimdor told them what had happened on the battlefield, and the gods were so grateful and amazed that they not only let Kalimdor keep the "Reaper slayer," but also had him join their own ranks. The rank of the gods. Now that Kalimdor was a god he was given his new powers which consisted of his ability to heal people with light. Kalimdor was also given another power; he was given the ability to resurrect people who died for unjust reasons. With his new powers Kalimdor ran to his father's resting place and brought his father back to life. From that day forward Kalimdor continued to heal those in true need, to defend those who needed defending, and to grant miracles of life whenever necessary. As for Kalimdor's father, he spent the rest of his days knowing that his dream had come true. His son had finally become a god.
