The average number of nightmares occurring in these adults is one nightmare per month or less (Rader 1). These nightmares are intense, however the effects are less harmful to the health and well-being of the sleeper. The sleeper will experience all the effects of a nightmare, except that his daily functions will not be affected. Because average dreamers experience at most one nightmare per month, they do not suffer from the psychological effects of dreams as would those who suffer frequent nightmares. Nightmares are something that every person will come into contact with at some point in their lives. There are different groups of people who will experience nightmares differently from each other. The effects of nightmares on people's daily lives and psychological health also differ from person to person. The one thing that will remain consistent, however, is the fact that nightmares are an eternal thing that people will remain interested in until the end of the world.
