When it comes to our education, we often decide where we want to go and the choice of learning environment. Many people choose to go far away and some choose to stay close to home. There is also the option to learn online or face-to-face. Some people prefer to take online lessons, rather than attending them in person for a certain number of hours. In this article, I'll explain what people prefer most, why one way is better than the other, who can benefit from each way, and why each way might be a disadvantage. I'll start by talking about online learning first, then move on to in-person learning. Taking online courses can be very difficult. You need to remember to check it at least twice a day because you want to make sure you do all the tests or discussions. Some professors may have things set up ahead of time so they can put the deadline for something on the calendar. Then there are other professors who can put things on a week at a time. This automatically lets you know to check those lessons every day. Many professors I know don't like teaching an online course because it can be time consuming. Things have to be typed and prepared online and create more work than face-to-face students. Online classes are much more difficult because you don't actually have a class in front of you, it's like you're basically teaching yourself. Those who often prefer online learning are those who have families and work full time, and for others, it is because face-to-face was either full or not offered. Distance education has emerged in recent decades in response to the growing needs of students who are unable to participate in in-person learning. The rapid development of distance learning programs… middle of the paper… especially if you only have one try at it. The reason why I prefer in-person classes is simply to get to know my professor and classmates better. When you are in class it is easier to review course work and prepare for the test because you discuss it during class. It's even better because you mostly don't teach yourself and on the spot you can ask the professor for help. You can easily take notes face to face with the participation of students asking questions and things you may have missed come back into the discussion. What I don't like about face to face is that the class is held in the morning because I'm not a morning person. I have a hard time getting up, so I do my best to get to class on time. In the end, I would choose one of the two because it's all about how much effort you put in to learn and pass the class.
