Throughout their life a child's development will be influenced by a variety of different factors. These factors often include but are not limited to; education, family environment, society and even popular culture. However, over the years it has been recognized that none of these factors overcomes the influence of parents on children and children on parents. Regarding gifted and talented students, there are a variety of unique effects that have been recognized and studied by academics.
