The essay topic - the John Kennedy quote seems to have remained a timely topic from the time of JFKennedy's presidency to the present day. If we approach ourselves in everyday life, it seems that having an opinion comes more quickly than thinking it. In the very foundations of the philosophy of Kant and Heidegger, philosophers approach the concept of thought as a fundamental part of existence, “being” and “Being”. Introducing himself into determining what “thinking” really is, Heidegger said, “The most challenging thing in our challenging time is that we are not yet thinking.” , as he further explains, that in fact the absence of thought is the main provocateur of thought. "If we are not able to think, we are not free", I elaborate the idea that only when we start to think with our head are we able to form an opinion, because if we don't, we naturally attach ourselves to the opinion, which didn't require any personal reflection, so it's not our opinion. I will discuss why I agree with JF Kennedy's quote regarding Heidegger's philosophy of "thought". I agree with this statement, supporting my decision with three arguments put forward by Heidegger, in successive order, representing them in "direction" towards the origin of opinion with thought. "Withdrawal" from "inauthentic" perceptions Considered by Heidegger the fundamental ingredient for achieving the ability to truly "be". Withdrawal, as understood by Heidegger, can be translated into many forms, but the key point is the removal of the “cloud” or “knowledge of authorities” that prevents us from authentic “learning”, and consequently thinking. The individual according to Heidegger is deprived of both true “learning” and “thinking”, since they were in principle not available to the individual. Since he has...... middle of paper...... thinking, he must first be able to do it. Approaching JF Kennedy's quote, in Heideggerian terms I translate it as: “The ease of “non-authenticity” and “authenticity”. It is precisely through mediocrity, the deprivation of a true and genuine personal experience, one might say, the mediocrity of the information space that benefits become overall available "determinately" towards the realization of "inauthentic" opinions not substantiated by "authentic" thoughts , only then, when people and ourselves within ourselves will be able to fill the opinion, the judgment with true thoughts, lightened by the existential and metaphysical need for comfort.
