After moving to Worland, Wyoming, I came to realize something I had never thought about before. The fact is that many people will spend their lives living in the same city without traveling to other states. This is something I could never even imagine because by the time I turned fifteen I had moved eight times. For me, moving wasn't that bad because it allowed me to experience so many new things. It was always sad to leave my friends behind, but I knew there would be people in the new place I was moving to, to make friends with. This is why when I moved to Worland and started talking to other people about places they had been, I was surprised because there were so many people who had never been outside of the state of Wyoming. After many of these conversations I started thinking about all the places I have lived and how different my life would have been if I hadn't been able to experience them all. I don't remember the specific moment when I got inspired, but I know that from a very young age I developed a love-hate relationship with travel. I love it because I like meeting new places and people, but I hate it because moving around so much can be really difficult. Traveling has influenced my life by making me more knowledgeable, allowing me to meet so many amazing people, and giving me inspiration to travel in the future. Traveling has given me so many experiences I would never have had before, like being at the Traverse City Cherry Festival. Traverse City used to be the cherry capital of the world because they produce so many every year. For this reason the Cherry Festival is held every year. Many activities take place during this festival. A lot of these activities take place... middle of paper... things like this make me really happy that I moved a lot as a child because if I never moved I would never have been able to experience the Traverse City Cherry Festival. This is one of the many things that has inspired me to travel in my life. Everywhere I have lived I have met really interesting people and I hope that in the future I will meet more people while travelling. Little coincidences like this are really amazing and really make me appreciate all the people I've met while travelling. All the traveling I've done so far in my life has only made me want to do it more. In my future instead of traveling from state to state, in the future I want to travel to other countries. I don't know where life will take me at this point, but I really hope it takes me somewhere outside of America, and certainly outside of Worland, Wyoming..
